Unimog 404 DoKa Uni Würzburg

Naja so langsam wird er (originalos mögen mich verfluchen), sicher ist es schade um das Fahrzeug aber mir persönlich gefällt der so auch ganz gut!!
Video´s kann ich leider nicht ansehen warum ????

James' is planning on joining the Air Force and lately just has not had
time to work on or enjoy his Mog so he's putting it up for sale. This
truck has had a long history and we have lots of photos of it traveling
the world when it was owned by the German university. We've been in
contact with a student of the professor who "owned" this 404 and took it
on its adventure keeping him updated as we progressed on the
restoration. He's posted photo online as we've worked on it. He tells
me they only made 4 of this cab. Yes VERY VERY RARE. LOTS LOTS LOTS of
photos so it loads slowwwww.

The truck has had many rusts spots cut out and new steel welded in.
Truck was primered then painted gray and looks great. James also
cleaned up the inside and put down carpet in the rear area of the truck
but never got around to building in rear seat or the roof and walls so
they are still bare with insulating foam on them. Front seats are still
the stock 404 seats.

The original camper on the rear was completly rusted and we opted to get
rid of it and planned on building another but again time shortages
caused James to just go with a simple 2x8 wood flat bed on a metal tube
structure. He just recently stained it and water sealed it.

The stats:

1967 Unimog 404 original from MB Doka Hardcab

(registered in Las Vegas, NV, no smog needed here)

49732 kilometers on the odometer (original?)

2.2L 6 cylinder motor (runs great, no smoke)

Brand new clutch, throw out bearing and pressure plate (less than 1000
miles)

6 speed tranny

Four 10.5x20 Dunlop MPT tires on the truck (good shape)

Spare tire is a 10.5x20 Conti MIL

PTO on tranny and shaft out the front

Fresh oils all the way around

Lockers optional... HAHA Just kidding (What is it a Jeep?)

EMP proof electronics

Rear view mirror in cab

No cup holders... L Sorry ladies

24V electric fuel pump

Dual tank selector still works (stock)

Carburetor fuel return line to front gas tank (via adjustable ball
valve)



Fenders are not on the truck right now but are in perfect condition,
primered only, but we do have them and they will go with the truck.
He's also including the 2 stock seats from my 404 (and the seat brackets
the bolt to the floor), 1 black just like the 2 in the truck now and 1
is brown. All 4 in good shape but can be reapulstered cheaply and then
you'd have 4 matching seats for the cab. Just about everything is stock
except the fuel pump. No vapor lock. Truck is ready for you to
customize for your camper or work project. Pickup in Las Vegas
preferred but for a small fee we'll deliver it within 500 miles.

Hallo Zusammen.

Natürlich war er in der Ursprünglichen Version Schöner,nicht jetzt weil er da Orchinoolll war sondern wegen dem Koffer ansich und dem Dachgepäckträder auf dem Fahrerhaus und soooo !

Aber so wie er jetzt Umgestaltet wurde hat er auch was....die Pritschen Klamotte ist sauber mit dem Holz und das Untergestell Sauber gebaut !

Und die Bilder ...egal obs Neuere sind oder die Alten kann ich mir Immer wieder Ansehen und Bewundern......die Reise Damals und das Verschiffen ect.

Einfach nur Herrlich ..............kann ich gar Nicht Genug von Bekommen !

Tach auch allerseits,

zugegeben, einen 404 hatte ich noch nie, was ja nichts heißen soll.
Eins ist für mich aber sonnenklar: Das hier ist der tollste Beitrag in den ganzen Foren! Es geht mal nicht um den pixelgenauen Unterschied zw.
DB-Farbe X und RAL Y oder eine showroom conditionmäßige Restauration
eine 406-ers. Einfach nur ein prima Auto da wo's hingehört. Hab gerade eine halbe Stunde Bilder gekuckt.
Mehr davon, in dieses Forum kuck ich jetzt öfter.
