UuUNIMOG I suspected that there was a limit for the gearbox about torque & RPM
but i did not knew how much , so its 120 Nm the limit, thanks for the info.
the 404 maybe is more , i found some engines torques here...
OM636 100 Nm ( original 411)
M180 143 Nm ( original 404)
M130 186 Nm ( original 404)
OM617 235 Nm ( some 404 owners use it for diesel conversion )
and i see that they are over 120..
Any way i promice my self to keep the engine less than 4000 RPM
Im not gona use my project for load weights , or for running fast
its gona be a (big) jeep style vehicle for easy ride & fun
so i think there is not so much pressure at gearbox with out load
I hope im correct :/
Olso i have plan to intall a system for cooling the gearbox ,
but this is just a dreem for the moment
(oh.. do you know what is the best oil type for the gearbox ? )
